Service-Enriched Housing
Reliant has partnered with numerous nonprofit organizations to pioneer the most innovative service-enriched housing programs in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer of Reliant is also the founder and Board Chair of Rainbow Housing Assistance Corporation (Rainbowhousing.org). He is also the founder of Equality Community Housing, a community housing development organization (CHDO). We meet the diverse needs of resident populations to help low- and moderate-income tenants improve their lives. We serve thousands of low-income households nationwide with our commitment to service-enriched housing.
Sample programs include youth enrichment and development programs, day care, after-school programs, continuing education / GED classes, vocational training, computer skills training, job skills training, money management classes, recreational opportunities, and cultural awareness activities.
Service-enriched housing not only benefits the residents, but it also has a positive impact on the property’s overall performance by reducing crime and building a more stable residential community. Communities in our portfolio that offer robust resident services generally maintain above-market occupancy and experience below-average turnover and lower levels of criminal activity.
Resource Conservation and Green Building
